Kyiv Multinational Rotary Club
The objective of Rotary is to encourage and foster the idea of service as a basis or worthy undertaking in particular, to encourage and foster:
1) The development of camaraderie as an opportunity of service;
2) High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
3) The application of the idea of service by every Rotarian to his personal„ business and community life;
4) The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world of business and professional persons united in the idea service.
10,000 infants die annually in Ukraine, many simply for want of an incubator. Children who survive often suffer neurological damage that could have been prevented by incubators. The Kiev multinational Rotary club has donated two incubators to date to smaller regional hospitals, our objective is to donate two more this year and five per year in five years. Each incubator cost approximately ten thousand dollars.
